New Romney Country Fayre - Contribution to the cost of first aid provision for the event.

To provide funding of £ 250 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

The New Romney Country Fayre is the largest free event on Romney

Marsh. Since the first event held in 1994 it has grown to become on of

the key event across the District – supporting local businesses and raising

thousands of pounds for charity each year. The loss of the event during

the pandemic was a loss to the whole community. This year’s Fayre will

therefore be a welcome reminder of the importance of Community Spirit.

Funding the First Aid provision will help ensure that the health and safety

of all visitors to the event is prioritised.
