Community Coffee House - A series of Friday drop in sessions and informal advice surgeries, where members of the local community can socialise and also access first stop advice on how to address issues of concern to them.

To provide funding of £ 300 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

Covid19 has created a number of serious issues in terms of social isolation and exacerbated other existing issues of poverty and social exclusion over the last two years.

This simple project provides a human contact point for those needing a safe space to talk about their experiences and issues, with some practical signposting for potential help or solutions as an outcome.

We have good working relationships with several other community organisations and services and will build on these to strengthen the role of Sunflower House as a centre for building community.
