Purpose:

Charivari Day 2022 – The grant will be used to purchase materials to make carnival costumes with children and young people from across the district. 

 

Decision:

To provide funding of £250 to the above project.

 

 

Reason for decision:

 

Charivari has been a big part of Folkestone’s cultural landscape for 25 years. It’s not

just one of the greatest shows in town on its day, but the work in schools engages

hundreds of children in producing something fabulous.
