Sensory Garden and Vegetable Flower Raised Beds – Creation of a sensory garden and two flower/vegetable raised beds for the children at Seabrook Primary School. 

To provide funding of £550 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

There is a need to enhance the ‘green’ environment by creating a sensory garden to offer the children a space to relax, contemplate nature, investigate, take care and reconnect with living things.  The vegetable/flower beds will offer the children a hands on opportunity to plant and enjoy the fruits of their labour.  It will also provide a space for budding scientists to explore and learn.
