Name and description of project:

The Loft Hangout

We want to run a health meal session 6x to help teach the young people food planning skills and health and hygiene, also we to run sit down meals as the young people learn have to interact and learn social skills from the conversationswe, we have found this helps the young people with disabilities learn new life skills.

Also we are after 2 xbox games to help social interaction with autistic young people.

DECISION:

To provide funding of £ 250 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

The loft is a project aimed at 17-25-year-olds to have a safe space to help with their mental health, to make friends, get support with work and job finding, to learn new skills and to find a place of acceptance and raise aspirations and learn how to contribute to the local community.
