Outside body

Nuleaf is the voice of local government on nuclear decommissioning and radioactive waste management. We work with Government, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA), Radioactive Waste Management Ltd (RWM), regulators and the wider industry and promote the best economic, social and environmental outcomes for nuclear communities.

Founded in 2003, they are an independent body guided by a constitution and service plan and led by an elected Chair and officers. Over 100 local authorities and National Park Authorities are members and they are a representative body of the Local Government Association.
